Q: What is the breakdown of the results?

Within the cohort of 3 students, 2 scored Grade A. They come from Nanyang JC and Temasek JC. Amazing results!

Q: How did the students achieve their desired grades?

Our students put in the required amount of hard work constantly running up to their WA2s. Many students who have just begun their journey in Junior Colleges are not aware of the large increase in difficulty as required for ‘A’ levels as compared to their ‘O’ levels, and are often caught unawares.

Our students kept a positive outlook as they prepared for their WA2s, not only attempting to ace their tutorials and revision questions, but to also train their problem-solving techniques in approaching questions they have not seen before.

Q: What did the tutors do to help the students in this subject?

The tutors of Einstein Education Hub exemplify the adages “No students are left behind” and “Nothing is left to chance”. We do not take the chance to assume that students are well acquainted with ‘A’ Level Physics just because of their ‘O’ Level Physics performance and having attended their lectures at their respective Junior College. All relevant concepts are explained in detail and the tutors will ensure that no student will be unaware of any important facet of the topics and have any of their doubts left unclarified.

The students here will attempt questions that will build up to the required standard as expected from them in ‘A’ Level Physics. The tutors will not only ensure that the students find the correct answers, but to understand the process in arriving at the correct answers, identifying important concepts to bear in mind, problem solving techniques as well as awareness of common mistakes that students will make for the questions they will encounter in their examinations.

Q: What changes were observed in the students over the course of study?

Other than observing that the students are able to answer questions with greater accuracy and precision, our students have shown a greater confidence in attempting questions which they have not seen before. The students show an increased eagerness in their revision, willing to attempt more practice questions on their own and seeking clarification for any doubts that they have.

Q: How is Einstein Education Hub different from other centres?

The tutors in Einstein Education Hub will explain all concepts, explanations and answering techniques in great detail. Not only will any doubts that the students have will be clarified thoroughly, but the tutors highlight potential misconceptions that the students may not be aware of. Most important of all, the tutors will painstakingly train the students up in their explanatory skills especially in the application of the abstract concepts with respect to the context of the structured questions.
