Q: How did the students achieve their desired grades?

Through hardwork, determination and discipline. Whenever the students were not sure about a certain part of the lesson, they would ask until they fully understood before moving on. They would also bring questions from their own revision to clarify with the tutor and if it was relevant to the class, it would become a case study and everyone would get to benefit from the sharing session.

Q: What did the tutors do to help the students in this subject?

Besides being patient, the tutors would not just touch and go when it came to teaching. They dived deep into the understanding and application of the methods, training the students up in terms of their explanation and consistency. Aside from teaching the topics, the tutors also stressed the importance of checking their work and taught them multiple ways of checking. Thus, they could prevent the students from making common mistakes before it even happened.

Q: What changes were observed in the students over the course of study?

In terms of their learning attitude, the students were more serious and became more confident in both their work and revision. It took the first student to be more proactive in class and the rest would follow. They cultivated and practised the good habit of checking their work to minimise the careless mistakes and unleash their full potential in Math. As a result, their foundation in Math especially algebra had improved significantly. With stronger understanding, learning the new yet more difficult topics became much more manageable for the students. They became more confident and showed more consistencies and accuracies in their work and WAs in schools.

Einstein has a proven system to train up the students extensively in Math in terms of their understanding, explanation and application skills. At Einstein, we will find out the root cause of the problems and the common pitfalls encountered by the students during their course of study in Math. We will implement effective trainings and measures to nip these problems in the bud to prevent further relapse. Besides growing the students’ competency and confidence, Einstein commits extra efforts to strengthen their consistency and accuracy.
