The tutors would pose questions to the students based on the answers that they had written to train them up on the correct answering techniques (such as using the proper keywords). They also provided hints and clues to ensure that the students were able to explain their answers with the relevant details.

Over time, the students were able to relate and make sense of the concepts. Thus, they were able to discuss and explain their answers more accurately and confidently, allowing them to remember more concepts than before.
