A: The students were heedful of the tutors’ advice and made commendable efforts to do their revision daily, based on the topics that were tested in the WA1. With consistent revision, the students could internalise the methods taught to them during tuition and applied them systematically to the questions that appeared in the assessment books, the practice papers and the WA1.

A: During the tuition lessons, the tutors would guide the students through step by step so that they could better understand the solutions. Furthermore, the tutors would not hesitate to provide additional questions on the spot for the students to apply these methods to ensure that they fully grasped the techniques and the know-hows. Every lesson, the tutors consistently tested them on the formulas and the methods to refresh their memories and strengthen their understandings. Most importantly, the tutors went through with the students some good revision methods and exam techniques to help them perform well in the WA1.

A: The students became more motivated and more serious in preparing for their upcoming WA1. With increased practices, not only were they able to complete the questions correctly and consistently, but they were also able to do it in a shorter time. As a result, their confidence went up. With the newfound confidence, they moved on to solving more challenging questions, proving that their revision methods and study techniques were showing results.
