Q: How did the students achieve their desired grades?

The students made every effort to push up their performance through consistencies in their tuition attendance, understanding of the abstract concepts within the topics and applications of the methods used to solve the questions. They continued to gain exposure to different types of exam-based questions through regular practice of the past year exam papers and pour all their time and energies into preparing for their year-end promos.

Q: What did the tutor do to help the students in this subject?

The tutor explained the core concepts to the students very clearly in details with plenty of examples to reinforce their understanding thoroughly. During the tuition lessons, the tutor would ask the students to analyse the various methods of solving different types of questions so that they could reflect their previous knowledge and improve on their understanding and learning. From time to time, the tutor would assist to clarify the students’ extra questions and further encourage them to practise more questions in their own time.

Q: What changes were observed in the students over the course of study?

The students displayed better understanding of the topics and the questions with greater knowledge of the formulas and methods. They became more self-motivated to attempt extra questions on their own, more committed in their studies.
